Today is National Fitness Day, many events are taking place throughout the UK to celebrate fitness and physical activity. A difficult question to answer in a brief description it is simply a practice of; breath control, simple meditation and body postures (asana/poses), which is practiced for health and relaxation. It is important to note that Yoga is not a religion, but it is a spiritual practice, but it does not mean you must be ‘spiritual’ to practice yoga to reap the benefits!
