Now, the Eco-Studio is breaking new ground by using attributed recycled materials to create this eco yoga mat, with the same legendary quality.

To produce this recycled yoga mat, we use a unique and innovative method called Chemical Recycling. This process breaks down waste into basic chemical components which consequently reduces waste, facilitates resource reuse, and ensures studio quality mats. This PVC material offers lower energy and resource consumption/emissions, and a longer lifespan compared to other materials.

The high-quality, high-density, German-made PVC mat provides the same cushioning, grip/slip resistance, durability, and skin-safety certification as the standard Studio Pro Yoga Mat.  This makes this eco-friendly yoga mat an ideal yoga studio mat — or for intensive home use — perfect for eco conscious yogis that don’t want to compromise on quality.

1. Disposal of plastic waste by consumers
2. Sorting of waste and delivery to partners in the recycling process
3. Conversion of the waste through a thermochemical process
4. Production of the purified raw materials from the converted waste
5. Attribution of all materials through a certified mass balance approach
